A New Addition.....

We took a leap and adopted a new family member this weekend. She was one of seven babies of a rescue kitty and my friend needed to find a home for her quickly...how could I resisit! Sweet girl has been asking for a kitten for 2 years now so she resides in her room most of the time....
So, with no further ado.....
Meet.......

........................
STELLA.....

She is cute, fiesty, sweet as candy....she just melts my heart!

Oreo is very excited about her arrival.....but the kitten just teases her and hisses and spits at her so she has taken to whining after a while... Be patient my Oreo, she will come around.....

Here she is teasing her again....

Beasley (our cat) is totally annoyed by her...he tried to greet her properly and she hissed and spit at him so he is done.... Stella you better back off!
And here is the new proud mommy with her baby!

Sorry for the poor contrast, for some reason my photos are going in the wrong place and I can't always edit them...

We have enjoyed the joy that she has brought into our house....hope you are finding some joy also! karen....

Hi,

Nice blog. She is definitely precious. So fun to watch them bounce and play. Since my cat Coco's passing, contemplating getting a kitten too.

Btw, not to be the bearer of bad news, but your post with the foxglove -- highly toxic plant. Keep the pets from tasting. Sorry, I tend to get a little worried about animals and certain plants in the yard.

On a light note, thanks so much for your comment on my blog. Much appreciative.

Cheers,
June

Who can resist such a sweetie? I was still going to answer your mail about the horrible adventures of your Marie Antoinette collage. Too bad. For every one! What a waste! I do hope that you are over it and made an even more beautiful collage. I cannot wait to see it. Enjoy your weekend!

Oh my gosh, Stella looks just like my Peanut!!! Peanut goes to a new home at the end of the week, she is the last of the 4 babies from our "adopted" drop off Momma, which we now had spayed and she is ours "forever"! It will be hard to give the baby up, as she is a sweetie, but we already have 5 cats, not counting her "momma"!! And they are all products of "drop offs" we have rescued!

Oh, she is cute! It was fun hearing about her and her beginnings at the stamp club. I love how your doggie is looking at her. You can tell your doggie is thinking something. You can tell your new kitty is not amused.
Take care, Arah

I love your sweet Stella.... but oh my... Oreo just steals my heart! I am the mama to two precious beagles. One of which used to have a figure like Oreo's.... I don't mean to insult anyone... I just love fluffy puppies (that is our way of saying... shhhhhh.... chubby)
Anyway, we used to have kitties... they were first... and when the dogs came, oh dear... they were not happy. But they certainly let the pups know who was boss! Enjoy!
