Vignettes Here and There....

I hope you enjoyed your Easter...we had a very subdued celebration. My son and his girlfriend had to work this year so we had a little brunch on Saturday...... still fun and chocolate bunny filled so we didn't feel cheated....

This is a view of  the top of our buffet.... I love the frenchy style but still have the element of cottage everywhere...I am so fickle!
I thought you might like some vignettes from around Country Roads since I am always showing you my space. There are many talented people who have booths there.... so much fun to wander around....

I love Debbie's style.... Very Frenchy... (above)
And Marina is one of the artists who makes her own signs...this wonderful painting is on an old door. Marina is in the process of moving to another booth in the store....
This is another corner of her new space "Belen's corner" Belen is her daughter and loves the thrill of the hunt and styling the booth so her mom gave her a corner of the booth.... (she is only 10!, Pretty talented eh? )

This is Yessi's corner...she is my sweet neighbor in the store.... love her look!

And that cherub above? Oh how I want her... my heart goes pitter pat for cherubs!  She can be found in Lori's booth.....

This sweet outdoor set is outside Marina's booth....loooove....

And this beautiful booth is new.... I just love so much about it! We are in the process of deciding on a new mattress and boxsprings...this chippy bed would look good with whatever we get!
Well, happy Spring my friends....hope you enjoyed all the eyecandy!  karen.....

oooh! I want that bed in the last photo! It's gorgeous. I have my eye on a similar one here, but it's around $300. What does a vintage iron bed go for in your area?

Hi Cerri!
Sorry it took me so long to write back, I was getting ready to delete my spam and saw your name amongst the junk mail!
I love that bed too! I have always wanted an old iron bed. I bet she has close to $400 on it. Her prices are high and it is a Queen.
California junk is sooooo expensive. I always think it is because people had to haul their treasures so far and ended up dumping so many items before getting here. But then my theory is shot out the window because it seems to be really good junking territory in Oregon and Washington.

We are hoping to get out this summer and try to find some more affordable and older finds. It has been harder and harder to find things for our antique space.

How have you been? How are your kids? Are they adjusting to college? Marissa is really liking it and started her first job today (exciting!)

Well, it is nice to hear from you!
Hugs! karen...
