I am Meeelllllttttiiinnnngggg..........

The other day when I went to visit my friend, she gifted me with this wonderful jadeite pitcher. She has many collections and has decided to downsize a little and said she knew how much I love jadeite so she shared one of her precious pitchers with me...now that is friendship!  I filled it with my favorite flower- hydrangeas... Just looking at the picture makes my heart smile!
Thank you Bonnie!

The title of this post has nothing to do with anything....It is just sooooo flippin'  HOT in Southern California right now! I just don't like hot, not at all!

I don't have too much to share this post, a few pictures of my friend Yessi's space. Yessi is my neighbor at Country Roads, she also works there and has a tiny little space that she does a wonderful job with.... The pictures don't do it justice because like I said, it is a small, long and narrow space but here goes....

The little dresser is wonderful!
So is this sweet vanity....
She always finds wonderful lighting....

And I love all the toiletries on this darling shelf....
Last but not least....my friend Bonnie has helped me greatly with finding goods for my booth so I put together a little gift for her. She collects children's books and this is a 1920's Louisa May Alcott book and I added a felt pin made by me.... Just thought I would share it with you!  I hope Fall is finding it's way to you (and soon to us!)  Hugs! karen....
Ps.... I would love to do a giveaway soon but nobody has been leaving comments...I would love a little hello if you stop by so I know that I still have readers, I love mail!

Hi Karen! I, too, am ready for FALL weather (or Winter, for that matter)! Love the color of your newly acquired pitcher. I love pieces that have a story and that you can remember exactly where they came from. Miss chatting with you!

Hi Karen - just read your comment over at Miss Mustardseed's blog, so I had to come visit. It's great that you found a space to show your antiques and refisnished items and furniture. I've been on the hunt for the right space myself - one that doesn;t break the bank. It seems a little difficult here on Long Island. If I go out to the Hamptons - they either want to charge you a ridiculous amount - or your funriture has to be very expensive antique or your finishes had to be so perect or unusual (not chalk paint) that itis tough to get in. I can do the unusual and the beautiful finishes - but I haven't the cash to buy the type of furniture they want to see.

But - I am still on the lookout. Would love to hear how you went about it.
